This interactive program will take participants on a journey through the Civil War era to learn about the activities of everyday citizens while their loved ones were off fighting.
This will include a visit from a Union Soldier in uniform to explain the life of a soldier. Activities will include corn shelling, butter making, and tin punching.
This program is designed for children ages 6–12 but all ages are invited. RSVP required. There are two timeframes available on Friday, January 2: 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.. Please contact the museum at (269) 468-3330 to reserve your child’s place today!
