2025 Holiday Open House

Ring in the holiday cheer at the North Berrien Historical Museum’s Holiday Open House!

From December 5–7, there will be a wide variety of holiday music, activities, and visits from your favorite jolly souls. Guests can decorate their gingerbread house kits onsite and vote for their three favorite trees sponsored by local businesses and community leaders.

The Pullman Train Club will have a model train town on display for the entirety of the weekend, which will include a scavenger hunt!

On Friday, December 5, a free holiday craft workshop run by the Enchanted Bead is offered from 1:00–3:00 p.m. Please call (269) 468-3330 to RSVP by Friday, November 21.

Following the craft workshop, Gingerbread House Decorating will be available on-site throughout the remainder of the weekend event. A performance by Coloma High School and Junior High Choir will begin at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.

Saturday, December 6, will feature the fourth annual chili cook-off, with live holiday music by the Shelagh & Robbie Duo from 11:30–1:30 p.m. Visitors will have a chance to visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus from 11:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. A holiday story reading by the Coloma Public Library will take place from 2:30–3:00 p.m.

On Sunday, December 7, visits with Santa and Mrs. Claus will be available from 11:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. A holiday story reading by the Watervliet District Library will take place from 1:00–1:30 p.m. A magic show by local legend John Dudley will be featured from 2:00–3:00 p.m.

All event proceeds directly support the mission of the North Berrien Historical Society.
