The North Berrien Historical Museum is hosting its Summer Time Traveler Program: Crystal Palace for kids on Friday, July 18 at 1:00 p.m. This will be held off-site at the Coloma Public Library in the community room. While this program is geared toward ages 6-12, all ages are welcome.

In the first half of the twentieth century, North Berrien County had many resorts and dance halls on Paw Paw Lake. One in particular, Crystal Palace, was very popular. A spacious venue, Crystal Palace provided people a place to dance the night away while witnessing the hottest acts of the big band era.

Join NBHS Director of Programs, Miss Katie, to learn all about Crystal Palace and make a fun tambourine craft! Attendees will learn the importance of this once local dance hall and how jazz music   became popular in this area!
