November 10, 2025 will mark the 50th anniversary of the sinking of the Edmund Fitzgerald.
Famed for its sudden and mysterious end, this Great Lake Ship still captures the interest of many. Join the North Berrien Historical Museum for a commemorative presentation on July 15 by Tifanni Dash.
Although the ship was known by sailors for behaving slightly unusually, the Fitz had a well seasoned captain and a history of reliable runs. While we will never know exactly what happened, we can honor the 29 men on board who were lost in this tragedy.
Tifanni Dash is a resident of Niles and is involved with the Daughters of the American Revolution. This presentation will take place off-site at the Coloma High School Auditorium.
No RSVP is required for this free program.
