This decorative map highlighting the history of Michigan was produced in 1971 by Coloma artist Anthony “Tony” Cupani (1924–1992).

The original map was executed in pen and ink and water colors. There are drawings and a legend for historical events and ornate lettering and borders. An estimated 200 hours went into its creation.

Copies are printed on parchment-like paper. Dimensions approx. 20”x26”
