The NorthBerrienHistoricalSocietyMuseum
consists of 5
buildings on a 4 acre campus. The Log
Cabin Main building, The Nichols / BeverlyAgricultural building,The Print
Shop, The Carter Centennial Farm
House, and The Carter Barn.
The
current featured display in the Main building is on the history of
the one room schools of the area with pictures,
written histories, and
a
display of the inside of a typical one room school.

trucks and tractors including a rare Parrot Tractor
manufactured in Benton HarborMichigan in the 1930's.

cut the ribbon to
officially open the Carter Gallery at the Carter House. The
Carter Gallery presents
an overview of the history of the Carter family who moved to Michigan
from
New York to farm. The various family members who owned the farm
and house, and it
eventually becoming the site of the North Berrien Historical Museum.
