North Berrien Historical Society Museum Tour:

The North Berrien Historical Society Museum consists of 5 buildings on a 4 acre campus.

The Log Cabin Main building, The Nichols / Beverly  Agricultural building,  The Print Shop, The Carter Centennial Farm House, and The Carter Barn.

The current featured display in the Main building is on the history of the one room schools of the area with pictures,
written histories, and a display of the inside of a typical one room school.

The Agricultural building features displays of farm equipment and farm trucks and tractors including a rare Parrot Tractor
manufactured in
Benton Harbor Michigan in the 1930's.

Grand opening Carter Gallery
Member Sally Carter-Williams and Past President Edith Munchow cut the ribbon to
 officially open the Carter Gallery at the Carter House.  The Carter Gallery presents
an overview of the history of the Carter family who moved to Michigan from
New York to farm.  The various family members who owned the farm and house, and it
eventually becoming the site of the North Berrien Historical Museum.
