March 16, Tuesday, 7pm, Free "Winemakers of North Berrien", presentation by Joe Herman, Karma Vista Vineyards and Winery, and by Tony Peterson, Contessa Wine Cellars, Coloma. Herman and Peterson will each discuss their family roots and their current work as pioneer winemakers in North Berrien.

April 20, Tuesday, 7pm, Free Nuclear Power in Southwest Michigan, presentation by Bill Schalk. Mr. Schalk is Director of Communications at the Cook Nuclear Power Plant. He will discuss the history of nuclear power in our region.

May 4, Tuesday, 7pm, Free Atomic Anxiety: Post-World War Two American Culture, presentation by Dr. Erika Doss., Dr. Doss is Chair of the Department of American Studies at the University of Notre Dame. She will discuss American anxiety over nuclear weapons and the impact it had on 1950s culture.
May 13, Thursday, 5:30-7pm, Free The Martian Chronicles Book Discussion, Coloma Public Library. All are welcome to join us for a discussion of the famous science fiction book, The Martian Chronicles, by Ray Bradbury.
May 18, Tuesday, 7pm, Free "The Infamous Belle Gunness", Bruce Johnson, LaPorte Couty Historical Society and Indiana's Educator of the Year 2009, LaPorte, IN. Johnson will present the century-old story of Belle Gunness, one of America's most prolific known serial murderers.
